(Side Note: The top layer of skin is called the subcutaneous layer and is the top of three layers of skin.)

Cellulite is produced by connective cords that attach the skin to your muscles below. These fibrous cords connect your skin to deep tissue structures in your body and fat substances that are located between. When the fat cells grow in number, they begin to press against your skin. While this is occurring, the cords are in the process of pulling in a downward motion, and ultimately, results in dimpling of the skin.

Cellulite is caused by a variety of different circumstances including: a decrease in the venous flow, improper blood circulation, excess fluid retention, as well as problems with lymphatic drainage. These factors can cause the subcutaneous fat cells to turn into unwanted cellulite. The female hormones, estrogen and progesterone, are also factors regarding the accumulation of cellulite. Estrogen has a role in determining the amount of fat cells as well as the location of the fat cells in a woman’s body. Estrogen stimulates the body to create fat cells in the thighs, the breasts, as well as in the buttocks. Retention of excess fluid and weight gain in a woman’s body can be caused by an increase of estrogen as well. Stretch marks that occur during pregnancy or puberty in the buttocks and the thighs might be signs of fat deposits, and for some women the stretch marks can become areas for cellulite.

It is very important that there is adequate blood flow in the areas where cellulite has appeared. This can be promoted by regular massaging of the area, and the application of high quality cellulite cream at least twice a day. (Side Note: The best time to massage these areas thoroughly is while taking a bath or shower.)

Hydration of the skin is another very critical aspect to help eliminate cellulite. Most of the anti-cellulite creams have extra hydration added to them; however, that is never enough. You need to drink a lot of water each and every day to ensure that your skin remains hydrated. Hence, you need to make it a point to drink half of your body weight in ounces of water per day.

Exercising on a regular basis, eliminating free radicals as much as possible from your body, eating healthy (highly nutritious foods plus vitamin and mineral supplements), not smoking, and limiting your consumption of alcoholic beverages, you are well on your way to limiting the development of cellulite in your body.

About the Author:

Before you buy anything online, make sure you check out Lana Robinson’s excellent free report on a new new cellulite treatment and how to regain youthful skin

Cellulite Sucks – 4 Things You Need To Know is a post from: The-Writers-Block.com

All Natural Acne Treatments

Health & Fitness

Acne, a term used by dermatologists, is bascially a clogged pore. Acne can occur on the face, back, chest, neck or shoulders. Acne can range in severity from mild to severe. Acne is not just defined as a ‘pimple’; some can be very painful nodules and cysts that form underneath the skin. These are the types that cause scarring. Acne has many names: pimples, whiteheads, papules, cysts, nodules, and rosacea just to name a few. About 80% of all people between the ages of 12 and 17 will have an occasional pimple or “breakout”. However, some of these “breakouts” are much more severe from some than for others.

Acne is usually diagnosed beginning at the age 10, and subsequent diagnosis may persist for decades. For a small percentage, this condition can prove troublesome throughout adulthood, even into the late twenties, thirties, and beyond. Men and women are equally affected by acne. However, men are much more prone to developing more severe forms of acne. They are also less likely to seek medical attention. On the other hand, women may be at a greatest risk for occasional breakouts caused by hormonal changes associated with the application of oil-containing cosmetics and normal menstruation. As we all now, both women and men can have cases of severe acne that, if left untreated, can cause deep facial scarring and emotional distress.

Most people reading this article have had some form of acne, and you are looking for a way to get rid of acne once and for all. A 15 year acne sufferer myself, I was searching for an acne treatment system that works. However, I wanted to find the best ways to treat acne, and it was also important to me to find natural solutions that worked with no side effects. Dermatologists can write a prescription for many different pharmaceutical products that are effective at treating most cases of acne. However, what we have learned is that many of the prescription drugs have side effects, some of which are very serious.

Accutane is one of the most popular prescribed drugs for treating acne. It does have a pretty high success rate; however, there are many studies out that now claim Accutane can have very serious side effects. Serious Accutane side effects can show up many years after taking Accutane. Some of the possible Accutane side effects are: inflammatory bowel disease and rectal bleeding, joint dryness, stunted growth, musculoskeletal injuries, vision damage, liver damage, and severe birth defects. So if you are considering Accutane or other prescription drugs to help get rid of your acne problems please do your own research and understand that serious side effects are very possible.

Through personal experience and side effects, I’ve learned that the best way to get rid of acne and to keep a clear complexion is by treating acne from the inside-out, rather than relying solely on topical chemicals that don’t work and usually cause additional harm to the skin. Products that fuel your body with key nutrients that allow the skin to normalize, while promoting a decrease of sebum (oil) production and inflammation are key to successful acne treatments. Acne can really be a nuisance for all of us, and we don’t have to be doctors to understand the impact it has on our lives. Having had acne most of my life I wanted to find a simple, effective, yet safe solution to treating my acne that didn’t involve harsh chemicals or fragrances that could further irritate my skin.

Personally I am even more delighted to say that this all-natural acne treatment system works! Having tried many ‘over the counter’ creams and pills, along with several different prescription drugs, all without success, I was finally able to clear my acne. And it’s a great feeling knowing I cleared my acne without taking dangerous prescription drugs. I starting seeing results within a few days and my acne was totally cleared up within a few months. Being that I am in my upper 30s and have battled cystic acne for over 20 years, I was not an easy case to treat. The scars left on my face from my teenage years were very noticeable, and I really didn’t think anything would ever help. My face is now clear, and my acne scars are gone.

Having this revolutionary acne treatment system years ago would have me saved a lot of money that I spent on worthless products that probably made my acne worse instead of better. I would go to the dermatologist and then go back to school. My friends would ask where I had been, and I was too embarrassed to tell them the truth. Nevertheless, I am thankful to say that I found an all natural acne treatment system that finally get rid of my acne and from what I have recently learned, it is becoming a top choice for many acne sufferers.

About the Author:

Before you buy anything online, make sure you read Lana Robinson’s excellent report on how to make acne go away, and acne treatments that work

All Natural Acne Treatments is a post from: The-Writers-Block.com

Five Of The Most Closely Guarded Mlm Secrets

Business

Whether you are new to network marketing, or a seasoned professional, you may still be looking for those closely guarded MLM secrets that will make you an MLM Success Story.
Five Of The Most Closely Guarded Mlm Secrets is a post from: The-Writers-Block.com

by Lana Robinson

Whether you are new to network marketing, or a seasoned professional, you may still be looking for those closely guarded MLM secrets that will make you an MLM Success Story.

Have you chased away all of your friends and family? Do you no longer get invited to dinner parties or casual events because you’ve pushed your product or service so much that nobody wants you around anymore? Yes, this is sad. However, it doesn’t have to be that way! Do you cringe at the thought of approaching somone about your business at the grocery store, the mall, the fitness center or even the bank? Are you sick of the hotel meetings, 3-way calls to your upline and the constant stream of “no’s” that have plagued us all? Are you tired of buying lunch for a prospect that really wasn’t interested in what you had to offer in the first place?

If your answer is “Yes,” then I can certaining empathize with you. I have been there, done that and bought the shirt. When I first got started in my MLM, I was so excited about the great products and how they can really change lives. I had visions of people lining up by the hundreds to sign up with me; allusions of grandure to say the least. The dream was a great one, but I tripped and fell flat on my face in the process. I went full speed ahead, you know… telling everybody I knew about how great the products are, how great the compensation plan is, about the science and research that goes into making such great products, and on and on and on. I bought biz opp leads, networking marketing leads, and even opened up the phone book and started cold calling. Yikes. I failed to realize that either their eyes had glazed over or that there was dead silence on the other end of the phone. Does any of this sound familiar?

Today, I will share with you the five components that must exist to generate a 6 figure monthly income with your MLM.

1. Be the Expert

To effectively position yourself you must become the expert. Now, I don’t just mean that you need to study your products and comp plan, but you also have to be an expert in understanding your audience. What are their needs, wants and desires? What will motivate them to get involved with your business? What solutions (for their problems) can you provide for them? Who exactly is your target audience? If you’re marketing health and wellness, why would you be pitching a 22-year-old college student? Even if he/she did sign up, they’ll be dropping in a few short months because they never had an attachment to the product. Look at the biggest business builders in your company. They’re emotionally attached to the product. They used it and saw results. That’s how it should be! Be conscious of who your ideal target market happens to be. This will provide you with a better understanding of how you can best get exposed to them.

2. Get Your Products and Services to the Masses

Why is it that conference lines for sales calls have really just taken off over the past year or 2? I’ve used them for years, and more than likely — so has your upline. Conference lines should be a requirement for any business owner. They’re cheap (and sometimes even free). And more importantly, when used correctly, you can get yourself in front of a lot of people that truly have a want, need and desire for your mlm products and services.

3. Master the Telephone

If you’re looking to grow a business to heights you can’t even imagine the phone must be your friend. One of your best friends. The phone doesn’t weigh too much… it can’t be all that bad! I remember thinking that I was going to vomit the first several times I got on the phone with a complete stranger. I was so nervous! But, can you imagine speaking with prospects that have already displayed a want and desire for your products every single day? This is a crucial element that’s required for success. When you have prospects that WANT to speak with you and have already displayed an interest in what you have, growing a business becomes child’s play (and the nervousness definately goes away!). However, you should use a script. It is easy to think that you can just talk to people and help them see the benefits of what you are offering. The truth is that without a script you are merely “winging it” and hoping that something you say will stick. The danger here is rambling on and on and before you know it, you have lost a would-be client or potential distributor. Using a script does not mean that you are not a good marketer. It actually means the exact opposite. All of the top network marketers will tell you they always use a script and that it is critical to long-term success. However, even though you use a script, you should still be personable; a good script will take you through the steps of finding out the prospect’s interest level, their willingness to find out more about what you have to offer, and their level of committment after they’ve listened to a presentation call.

4. Master the Internet

The Internet is an explosive tool. It’s absolutely incredible, but just like any other tool you have in your garage, you must know how to properly use it. Having a website just isn’t enough. You need to know what to have on it, where to put what and how to tap into the mind of your prospect. Furthermore, you must know how to get targeted visitors to the website that already want and need what you have. Once this is mastered, this tool becomes so powerful words can’t depict how great it is.

5. Mastery of the Written Word

By mastering the written word and using website copy to create salivating messages, you can grow a million dollar business inside of 12 months. How would you like to enroll associates into your business without ever speaking with them? What if you could write a sales letter from top to bottom that put people into your business whether you were sleeping or golfing? What would it be like to log into your administration area in the morning to see that your business grew by 7 people while you were sleeping? You must learn the skills to get your website working for you 24/7.

In conclusion, by applying these 5 important tips, you will begin the journey to success in your network marketing business.

About the Author:

Before you make one more move in your mlm business, check out Lana Robinson’s excellent free report on closely guarded mlm secrets and network marketing success

Five Of The Most Closely Guarded Mlm Secrets is a post from: The-Writers-Block.com

6 Things You Need To Know About Pimples

Health & Fitness

Because nearly 17 million people in the United Status suffer from acne, it has become one of the most common skin diseases in the United States. Usually, acne goes away by the age of 30; however, some people in their 40’s and 50’s still suffer from acne.

While we do know that a pore collapses on itself and blocks sebum (oil) from escaping, we do not fully understand why this process takes place in one sebaceous gland versus another. The cause of pimples is unknown. The process by which a pimple develops is highly intricate.

While acne is not a serious health threat, it can cause physical and emotional scars. One thing that we do know about acne is that hormones, diet, vitamin deficiency, stress, evolutionary biology (just to name a few) play a role in the formation of acne. Most pimples are found on the face, neck, back, chest and shoulders.

Sometimes, the hair, sebum, and skin cells clump together into a plug. The bacteria in the plug cause swelling. Then when the plug starts to break down, a pimple grows.

Because we know that many factors cause pimples we can say confidently that effective treatments for pimples are out there, you just have to find the one that works for you and your acne.

Some of the most common types of pimples are:

1. Whiteheads: These are pimples that stay under the surface of the skin.

2. Blackheads: These are pimples that have a black color, and they have risen to the surface of the skin. Some people say that this black color is from dirt, but that is not true.

3. Small pink bumps on the surface of the skin that can be tender (papules)

4. Pustules. Pimples that are red at the bottom and have pus on the top.

5. Large, painful, solid pimples that are deep in the skin (nodules)

6. Cysts: These deep, painful, pus-filled pimples can cause scars.

Article kindly provided by Have Beautiful, Healthy Skin At Any Age

About the Author:

Before you buy anything online, make sure you check Lana Robinson’s excellent 5 part free newsletter on how to become acne free and how to make acne go away

6 Things You Need To Know About Pimples is a post from: The-Writers-Block.com

Aging – Don’t Go Down Without A Fight

Health & Fitness

There are two types of aging that both men and women have to deal with on an ongoing, daily basis....Actinic Aging and Intrinsic Aging. So, just what can we do to reduce fine lines and wrinkles?

Any chance you had, you’d go to the beach or to the lake… living worry free; it was heaven on earth! You looked so good with your deep, dark tan. If you couldn’t go to the beach or to the lake, you spread out that king size sheet right in the front yard and slathered yourself with deep tanning oil. That tan you got sure made you feel and look good!

Maybe you weren’t a water girl, but you were still so enamored with the way your skin looked when it was tan. So, you’d spend your time in the tanning beds or pool-side to get that golden color.

Well, that’s what we thought.

Now we feel as though we’re cleaning up the mess we made. Our skin has new and interesting things to offer us: uneven color, fine lines, patches that look like our freckles decided to band together in perfect unity creating one large blemish… expect they call it an age spot. How dare they! Couldn’t we just call it a souvenier from our best spring breaks?

The pressing question now is, “Is it too late to love my skin again?” The answer is no. It’s never too late to love your skin again! Sure, your part in the damage is irreparable, but so is living life. Our days click off without asking permission, and our skin begins to show that years have clicked away. What we need now are tools; products that help us repair what’s been done and to offer protection from what’s coming.

Your overall appearance of a healthy body shows in your skin. So, it’s important to put beneficial things (water, minerals, protein and carbs) into your body, as well as having a good skin care product to put beneficial ingredients into the skin.

Scientists are aware that we can nourish our skin topically or internally; we cannot do one without the other. An unhealthy person can use the best skin care products in the world, following all the directions perfectly and see some improvement in their skin. But, if that same person chooses to nourish their bodies with ‘good’ foods, then their skin’s appearance will improve so much more.

If you have troubled skin, you ned a supplement that supports the skin from the inside out with key ingredients like L-Lysine, zinc and vitamins A and B6. You should also drink plenty of water. Smokers should think about quitting.

Getting older isn’t an option, but getting wiser is. The United States currently has more “Baby Boomers” (those born between [and including] 1946 and 1964) than ever before because of the “explosion” of births after American soldiers returned home from World War II. When we think of the baby boomer generation, we often think of the 1960s. Specifically, women born between these “boomer” years want to look as good as they can and they want to celebrate the vitality and the self-confidence that their experience has given them.

Prevent Wrinkles

Preventing wrinkles is obviously the best way to not have wrinkles. However, running around in the sun without sunscreen when we were children, and going to those football and baseball games without sunscreen was really a mistake. Not taking care of our skin when we were younger makes it a little bit harder to reverse the signs of again, but it can be done! If nothing else, you should wear sunscreen, even if you are just driving around in the car. Make sure it has an SPF 8 or higher.

Your first and best defense against wrinkles is to stay well hydrated. Being hydrated keeps the skin smooth and plump. Between six and eight glasses of water each day is the recommendation. That may sound like a whole lot of water; however, in all actuality it really is not that much water at all. Once you get used to drinking enough water, you’ll be surprised at how good you feel and how good your skin looks! To prevent wrinkles, you should also have a well balanced diet. If your body is getting the proper nutrients, then you will have healthy skin that starts from the inside and shows up on the outside. Foods rich in anti-oxidants and high in vitamins A, C and E are good for the skins appearance. Taking a good multi-vitamin can also be a way to help the skin.

I cannot say this enough…. Use a good moisturizer! Using a good moisturizer will help the skin retain its elasticity, which reduces the amount of wrinkles. Your skin will be soft and smooth, and you’ll appear younger! A lot of moisturizers on the market today contain mineral oil. Mineral oil is not necessarily a bad thing, it’s just that it’s a filler… and it sits on the top layer of the skin and just makes you “look” hydrated. If you want to really hydrate your skin, you need a good mositurizer (without mineral oil or waxes) that has some beneficial ingredients that go deep into the skin’s layers and promotes the generation of newer, healthier cells. You should also exercies on a regular basis. Even if it’s just walking for 30 minutes a day. Exercise makes you feel better, burn fat, and helps to release toxins that have built up in your body.

If you must be outside (and who wants to stay inside all the time…) please wear a sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher. A good tip is to use a moisturizer with sunscreen included in the formulation. I know it’s hard to do, but you must also quit smoking and limit your alcohol. These all have the power to rob your skin of its elasticity and youthfulness. You can also choose to wear protective clothing to avoid the sun and prevent wrinkles. Even in the middle of the winter– wear sunscreen. The sun is “up there” all year (unless you live in Alaska)!

Home Remedies for Age Spots

Virgin Coconut Oil is a natural and easy to use home remedy for age spots. Actually, it’s recently been discovered as one of the best home remedy skin care treatments. Because Virgin Coconut Oil contains many anti-oxidants, and it has the ability to get absorbed into the skin and the skin’s cell structure, it has the uncanny ability to rejuvenate the skin! You can even substitute Virgin Coconut Oil in foods to further your skin’s healthy appearance!

Other oils that contain properties that are healthy for skin are extra virgin olive oil, avocado oil, peanut oil, or sesame oil. These oils also contain anti-oxidants that help the skin to retain its elasticity. They also contain ingredients that help to reduce fine lines and wrinkles… and to prevent them from forming.

Skin Treatments Over the Counter

Wanting to treat wrinkles at home instead of going to a “spa” or dermatologist? Many products that are “over-the-counter” can be purchased and used to treat wrinkles in the comfort of your own home. Dermatologists recommended that products contain vitamins C & E as well as have anti-oxidants in them. Products that also contain Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) help to remove the dead layers of skin to produce a younger appearance in the skin.

Retinol and Alpha Hydroxy Acides (AHA) are found in many night creams for the face. Retinol is a form of Vitamin A, and can be used to reduce acne as well as increasing the cell turnover rate of your skin. The faster your cells regenerate… the more youthful you will appear. Your fine lines and wrinkles on your face will be diminished. Use a natural skin lightener for those dark under-eye circles. Kojic Acid is also a good ingredient, because it’s a natural lightener and works wonders on dark under-eye circles.

There are many options for reducing fine lines and wrinkles, no matter how you choose to do it. And, the best thing of all, it doesn’t have to cost a fortune!

About the Author:

Before you buy anything online, make sure you check out Lana Robinson’s very informative free report on how to Erase Wrinkles, and Treat Age Spots at Home

Minimize Wrinkles In 4 Easy Steps is a post from: The-Writers-Block.com

Hormones – What You Need To Know About Menopause And Andropause

Health & Fitness

When most people hear the words "andropause" or "menopause", they immediately think, "middle-age" and "misery". After all, most people experience the onset of the end of their reproductive cycle during middle-age – and this is usually accompanied by emotionally and physically draining symptoms such as hot flashes, low libido, and mood swings.

However, the facts are changing, and they’re changing with the times.

People are now experiencing these symptoms, along with constant fatigue and depression, much earlier in life. Some studies suggest that perimenopause can begin as early as twenty-five in some women. Men in their twenties and thirties regularly experience the symptoms of low libido and erectile dysfunction. Both men and women battle fatigue and depression – often with drugs and dangerous habits

What is causing this rapid onset of the symptoms of menopause or andropause? Is this ‘really’ what people are experiencing, or it is something altogether different that is “masking” itself as menopause or andropause? What can someone in their early mid-life do about these stressful symptoms? And, what about those who are actually experiencing the onset of the end of reproduction? Are drugs the only alternative? Are they actually safe?

According to Dr. Lucille, “Most physicians try to replace hormones. That’s a poor strategy. Exactly what ‘hole’ did they fall out of?” From almost 10 years of clinical practice, Dr. Lucille has found solid, natural methods for encouraging bodies to do what they were designed to do: heal themselves, from the inside-out. This healing process can not only take care of the problem, but also the nasty symptoms – and, unlike drugs (HRT is the common term for hormone therapy via drugs), leave the individual much healthier and more fit than when they began.

“Drugs have their place in hormone help, but they should not be the first choice. The body must be given the chance to heal the root cause of most of the symptomsand that’s something rarely discussed in traditional medicine,” says Dr. Lucille. “For those on HRT, it is even more crucial to address the core issues, otherwise long-term health can definitely be affected.”

Dr. Lucille does offer a book that rounds out hormon questions, covering all you need to know about restoring and maintaining hormonal balance in what she calls, “An ever-increasing toxic environment.” Dr. Lucille demonstrates how everyday household items are contributing to the increase of estrogen in both males and females. The result: children are reaching puberty 2.3 years sooner than fifty years ago, and both sexes are experiencing the onset of menopausal symptoms earlier and, often, in increased severity.

This is the best product I have ever seen for addressing relief and self healing when it comes to this natural phase of life. Combine that with the solid, down-to-earth nutrition and fitness information, how-tos on sexual healing, and a complete “what works” natural supplement guide, and you have a product that everyone over 30 desperately needs in order to live at their peak for decades to come.

About the Author:

Before you start taking HRT, make sure you check out Dr. Lucille’s excellent free newsletter on male and female menopause, your official hormone helper

Hormones – What You Need To Know About Menopause And Andropause is a post from: The-Writers-Block.com
