Building A Boat – Is It Doable?
Thinking about building a boat? Wondering if it is really doable? Well it is and in fact if you go about it the right way it can even be fun and relaxing.
If you want to build a boat I would suggest using wooden boat plans or at the very least a good boat design software.
Why?
Because there is nothing more frustrating then spending the time to make an awesome boat only to have it start sinking to the bottom of the lake when you put it in.
Yes, I know, wood floats. However, wood only floats if it is in the right shape and is very flush fitting. If water has a chance to get in, it will. That you can count on.
So if you are looking to build your own boat I would highly suggest getting yourself some good wooden boat plans for no other reason then to take the frustration out of building your own boat.
