People who are tired of being rejected for a new checking account are looking to alternatives to regular banks. You see, most banks refer to a database known as Chex Systems when they are considering a person’s checking account application. If the person’s name happens to show up in Chex Systems, the person is flatly denied a new account. You can be reported to Chex Systems for a number of reasons, including but not limited to having committed bank fraud, abused a debit card, or failed to repay a bank after overdrawing a checking account.
